FAQ’s

Small and temporary marks will appear on the skin after usage, but they will ditar quickly. Although unusual and completely harmless, the marks may remain for a longer period depending on the softness and texture of your skin. Your skin may also become blushed which is due to the increased blood circulation and is a positive effect of the mat’s calibrated pressure points.
Absolutely. You may feel some discomfort for the first few minutes, but this is quite normal and happens to most people. The slight pain is your body’s natural response and helps release the endorphins (a.k.a. the "feel-good" hormones). You can reduce the pressure of the mat by wearing a t-shirt or put a thin sheet between your body and the mat before you lie down on it.
Of course you can, but remember that the back is the single largest area of your body. This is where the mat will help release the highest number of endorphins that will have relaxing and revitalizing effects on your entire body. Many people use the mat on the neck, shoulders, arms, seat, thighs, arms and feet.
We advise anyone with heart or skin conditions to consult with their doctor before using the mat. Also, if you are taking blood thinning medication, you SHOULD NOT use the mat. You should always consult your doctor if you feel prolonged discomfort or are unsure about how to use the mat.
Yes! In fact, we have received very positive feedback from people with arthritis using the mat.
Absolutely. It may even speed up the healing process because of the increased blood circulation.
Remove the foam core. Mix a small amount (approximately a table spoon) of detergent in warm water and let the mat soak for a few minutes. Then gently hand-wash the mat and finish by rinsing thoroughly and let it drip-dry at room temperature. Do not use a washing machine or tumble dryer because this may cause damage to either your mat or equipment, or both.
